Happy Thursday!

Bitmoji Image

Hey! It's Thursday! The first three days of the week went pretty fast for me! It's been a busy one too. Every day I have been gone from home and in two different places each day. LOL! Monday, I went to N. Manchester in the afternoon to present a card workshop with the sweet ladies at Timbercrest then up to Warsaw for a wonderful evening of supper and fellowship with a group of church friends. Tuesday, went to Warsaw to help some young ladies with their scrapbooks and down to Huntington for a club meeting. Wednesday, I had a 2 hr. chiropractor appointment in little ole' N. Manchester and then up to Warsaw for Lost and Found~ Kid's Church. Today, I get my hair cut and hopefully I get to stay home the rest of the week because Saturday night we have some friends and family coming for supper! Need some getting ready time.
Hubs made his famous ribs for us and everyone is looking forward to diving in.

Meanwhile, in between these trips hither and yon, I made a couple cards and a 2 page layout. Today, I will show you the first card because it's for a challenge that is due today.

The challenge was Case This Sketch #314.

And here is my take on this sketch using all Close To My Heart product.

Clean and simple is not quite my norm, but, I am learning and really loving it.
I used the April Stamp of the Month for this card. You can purchase this stamp set outright for $18.95 or get it for only $5 when you order $50 worth of product. Plus, when you purchase this stamp set in April, you will also get some free happy mail which I will reveal soon that you will be able to use with the Stamp of the month.
Also used our Stitched Quilt Shapes Thin Cuts for the triangles.

The flower is the color of the year called Sugar Plum and you have 5 more months to purchase this color and it will be gone for good. This color comes as a stamp pad, reinker, cardstock, glitter cardstock and a Glitter Pen which I used on the flower also. You can purchase everything at the link below.

If you have come here from Lauren Moore you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way you'll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melissa Robinson's blog.

For this blog hop we have 9 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using the Embossing products and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do~just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!
Here we go!

I made this card using the Embossing Folder called Playful Scallops. Using the stamp pad, I smooshed the three different colors on the embossing folder with each stamp pad stacking the three colors (Candy Apple, Clover and the Canary) next to each other. Then I put a piece of White Daisy into the embossing folder with another piece of cardstock for a shim and run it through the embossing machine. Voila! The ink was transferred to the White Daisy in a very interesting way! I cut it to the size I needed and doodled around the edge with a black journal pen after dovetailing the bottom. Added the trim to the top. I adhered this piece to a piece of Sapphire and hand trimmed around so just a tiny bit shows. Makes it pop off the page.

I cut the White Daisy sentiment from the Cricut. Stamped the designs from the stamp set called: Sticky Notes fussy cutting a tiny square for the word for, fussy cutting one of the flowers to pop it off and the leaf vine came from the Cricut. I used the Intense Black to stamp the designs on with and then water colored with the inkpads. You can use watercolors or markers to color in instead.

Love these colors! They are part of the color line up of the March Paper Pack called Falling For You. The background paper on the card and the trim on the banner are from that paper pack.

I used the pattern for the card in the Make It From Your Heart-Vol. 4 Pattern 6

Now "Hop"on over to Carrie Simonds to see her works of art! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Contact your CTMH Consultant ( or click here ) to get the products I used for this project!

It's March already!

Bitmoji Image

It's March already? Spring is coming but yesterday we drove to Ohio in the snow and they are still calling for it all weekend. I am not complaining. I love the snow! And to all you winter haters please don't throw snowballs at me. That's the way I roll. LOL!

March we will be featuring the So Much Happy Paper Pack as the paper pack of the month. I really like this paper pack and wanted to show you some lay outs I made. It also goes with the March Stamp of the Month.

This is a two page layout I made using the So Much Happy paper pack and a couple of the stamps from the March Stamp of the Month. Love the colors.
