I sure hope you-all are having a wonderful summer so far! It seems to be going fast.
I am sure loving the new back porch. We got a new grill and have been fixing a lot of our meals on that and eating out there some. It went from being too cold to now it's a bit too hot and humid. I think I have been just a bit too relaxing since the preparation of and the actual Graduation Party. A lot going on around here also which I am sure, you all have a lot going on also.
I finally got to this months card kit finished. I hope you like it. I had way too much fun with this one and especially the dies. I used Sketch #3 and the Relaxing Waterside Stamp sets and Dies and the Waterside Retreat DSP. Plus, the extra die set that goes with the Paper Pumpkin.
Card #1
A couple of these cards kind of fell together. I started this one with scraps and it ended up opening long-ways. LOL. I liked it so I kept it. As you can see, I didn't follow the sketch exactly, I added extra layers that do not show on the sketch. The sign came from the DSP also and I fussy cut the little bobber? Not sure what it is. LOL. This DSP and the stamp sets are really great for the Male side of the family.
Card #2
This card was a more simpler one with some random stamping on the solid cardstock. It is the same design concept but sitting horizontally. The sign holder is from the extra die set that was made for the Paper Pumpkin. It gave me an extra fun embellishment that wasn't in the Stamp Set. The Cat Tails are from the Relaxing Waterside Dies. l cut them from the green and colored over cattails ends with Dark Peach Pie Stampin Blends and it looks brown. I used Old Olive light and dark for the green bottoms.
Card #3
I wasn't planning on this card to fold like this but, when you make a mistake with the scoring, well, this is what I ended up with and liked it enough to keep it. LOL! I just need something to keep it closed so I ordered some velcro from Amazon. Hopefully that will work. So fun to play with.
I will be putting together a PDF and a 2-page Layout next. Meanwhile, let me know in the comments what you think of this Collection?
