Recipe Cards -January 14, 2026

We’re in the middle of a blizzard today ❄️—how about you? It’s the perfect kind of day for hibernating, crafting, or simply doing whatever makes you happy.

I had hoped to share the Recipe Cards for the Easy Peasy Cards much earlier, but better late than never! If you scroll down to the next blog post, you’ll find all the details and inspiration behind these cards.

Because I used Close To My Heart designs, I’m not able to share the original sketches. That said, each recipe card includes the measurements for every piece—so you can still jump right in. Dig into your scrap stash and try creating these four cards yourself!

The final card features random stamping on a piece of Basic White cardstock, giving you a closer look at the beauty of two-step stamping. It’s a simple technique, but the results are so satisfying! With just a light swish of ink from your inkpad and a quick pass with a watercolor brush, you can add a soft splash of color to an otherwise stark white background. It’s an easy way to create interest and dimension while keeping the design clean—perfect for letting a simple sentiment shine.

When you’re finished, I’d love to see what you make. Share your creations in my Facebook group, Making Pretty Things With Paper, under the post from the previous blog. Let’s inspire each other! 💕✂️ Also, I would love it if you leave a comment below to let me know you visited.
