Mojo Monday

Here is my take on the Mojo Monday 481 sketch using the Close To My Heart Sugar Rush paper pack, stamp set, complements and embellishments. I used out of the tiny bit of paper left from making the 3 2-page layouts and 9 cards in the Workshop Your Way. The half circle was cut with the retired Art Phylosophy cricut cartridge and the lace was cut from the same cartridge and adhered on top. I then trimmed it down to the shape and size of the half-circle. Really fast and simple.

My Schedule for January and February!

I know I am kind of behind but, here is my calendar and schedule for my events for January and February. The Saturday All Day Crops are a joint effort with two other ladies, Vicky Turner and Johna Hodges Creative Memories Advisor both from Warsaw. We will be taking turns hosting the Tuesday and Saturday Crops. Come and join us for a whole day of cropping and getting whatever crafty thing done you want to do. You can also work with me making pretty things from pretty paper. ;-) 

I am offering a Card Buffet where we will make Valentine Cards and there will be other kinds of cards too. Everything is pre cut and everything is included to make your cards except adhesives, ruler and scissors. $3 per card or make 6 for $12.

The scrapbook workshops are basically you needing to order your kits ahead of time. You can do that here. Or if you just want the basic paper pack click here. You can bring your own embellishments or purchase the embellishments that go with this paper pack. Or here and here.

The Last Hurrah!!!

It's been awhile again. This time I got busy taking care of my terminally ill Mom, and she passed away a couple weeks ago. Since I am the only child close by to take care of her I had to put my life on hold, including Close To My Heart. I will be forever greatful for this time I had to spend with Mom and take care of her and the resilience of my business to be able to do so.

Wow! I sure can't keep up with this blog. Summer was huge this year with helping our son take care of our three wonderful grandchildren and having the other 5 coming and going for their weeks with us and camping with the family. What a joy they all are and we feel so blessed with having them here and being together with the family. 

Today was our last day with our Son's children here before school starts. I took Miss Mya to a Salon and we had manicures and pedicures done by my dear friend Jeni Augustyn. This was for part of her birthday and for getting ready for her first day of school. If I can figure out how to get the pictures off my phone, I would share them on here. ugh! As we gathered up their things and packed them up, it felt like when our children left home, kind of an empty nester feeling all over again. Were sure going to miss them.
